As CEO of Urbex, a wholly owned subsidiary of BMD, Russell guides the organisation's major development interests and activities across Australia. Prior to his appointment he was Managing Director of Urban Pacific (a wholly owned subsidiary of Macquarie Bank) from 1996 to 2002. Other former positions include: General Manager of Pioneer Projects Australia; Manager responsible for assembling and establishing the 10,000 dwelling Golden Grove Joint Venture development and other special projects on behalf of the SA Government.
