Incorporated as a civil construction business in 1979, the BMD Group (BMD) has grown from an annual turnover of $600,000 in its first year, to $822.5 million in the 2008 / 2009 financial year. 

Today the Group employs approximately 1,200 people and has built strong established relationships with some of the country’s major urban developers, government authorities, corporations, suppliers and subcontractors.

Our capability extends from small civil, industrial and building projects to large scale major infrastructure for public and private sector clients.  

The Group provides its services through a diverse yet integrated business model, providing specialist services across many industry sectors, as follows:

• BMD Constructions provides civil, industrial and building construction services for major infrastructure and urban development projects.
  
• BMD Consulting provides civil, structural and geotechnical engineering design and project management services for residential, commercial and industrial developments and infrastructure projects.
  
• Urbex is the primary vehicle for establishing and managing BMD's major national urban development interests.
