BMD was established on a set of values that are still apparent throughout the business today - family, empowering, determined, collaborative and striving to do better. These values underpin our commitment to the communities in which we work, and guide our decisions to support a range of not for profit and community based organisations throughout Australia.
Similarly, our construction procurement policy is focused upon supporting the communities in which we operate, by engaging locally based suppliers and owner operators rather than maintaining our own fleet of equipment. This policy, which has been in place since our inception in 1979, then serves to maximise the opportunity for local input with flow on effects in the training and development of locally based staff engaged on the project.
BMD Northcliffe
BMD is the official naming rights sponsor of the Club, now named the BMD Northcliffe Surf Club. This is the first partnership of its kind in Australia between a surf club and a corporate sponsor.
Our Support
BMD management and staff actively support a range of not for profit and community based organisations throughout Australia each year, raising much needed funds for these very worthy causes.
