Olympian Natalie Cook
BMD is proud to support beach volleyball Olympian and gold medallist Natalie Cook in her journey towards London in 2012. This will be Nat's 5th Olympic Games and makes her the only Australian female athlete to compete in this many summer games.
BMD has had a proud association with Nat since early 2008, when we entered into a partnership to support her during the Beijing Olympic Games, which in turn saw her acting as the official ambassador of our Good Health & Wellbeing program.
While in Beijing, Nat provided regular updates for staff on her experiences and since being back in Australia, has acted as host and trainer of the BMD National Beach Volleyball tournament for staff all over the country.
BMD also sponsors Nat's business, the Sandstorm Beach Club at Nathan in Brisbane, which sees over 1,000 people of all ages enjoying beach sports each week in Australia's largest sand pit!
