Queensland Surf Lifesaving
In addition to our support of the BMD Northcliffe Surf Club, BMD also supports a range of events annually for the Queensland Surf Lifesaving Foundation. These include Boardies Day and the Surf Safe Appeal.
Funds raised through such events ensure that the volunteer surf lifesavers from 306 clubs around the country have the equipment, resources and training they need to keep our beaches safe. With over 100 million beach visitations each year, these volunteers offer a vital community service - one of which BMD is proud to be a part of.
Our Group Board Chairman and Managing Director, Mick Power, AM, is also a Board Member of the Queensland Surf Lifesaving Foundation.
