Incorporated in 1979, BMD commenced operations as a contractor to the South East Queensland urban development industry - a market that has consistently delivered the highest growth of any region in the country.

The organisation then diversified with the addition of consulting civil engineering services, the establishment of a major infrastructure construction capability and joint venture urban development initiatives.

Throughout the 1990's, offices were established throughout eastern and northern Australia to provide local, focused services to these clients and communities.

Today, we still retain this enthusiasm and discipline for sustainable growth and development and many of the people who started out with BMD in 1979 are still with us today, proving our unwavering belief that 'Our Business is Our People'.
