21 DEC 2011 - Road capacity in Brisbane's northern suburb of Bridgeman Downs has doubled with the completion of the Bridgeman Road Upgrade, Stage 2 project. BMD was awarded the Brisbane City Council (BCC) project in October 2010, after completing works on Stage 1 of the Bridgeman Road upgrade.

Hay Point Expansion Project Hay Point Expansion Project

16 DEC 2011 - Hay Point Coal Terminal is wholly owned by BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, and is currently undergoing its third expansion to increase capacity from 44mtpa (million tonnes per annum) to 55mtpa. The overall expansion includes the replacement of the existing jetty, a new third berth, trestle, surge bins and out-loading conveyors.
