BMD branches into Western Australia

BMD has celebrated its launch into Western Australia when the Perth office opened at a client event held at the Old Swan Brewery in March.

BMD Group Board Chairman and Managing Director, Mick Power said, ‘our expansion into Western Australia is the final piece of the puzzle.’

The opening, held on Wednesday 25 March, also saw BMD announce its partnership with the Clontarf Foundation.

The foundation works to improve education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal men.

Clontarf Foundation director, Ross Kelly AM said ‘this partnership with BMD will provide more tangible experience for our young men and we look forward to identifying new opportunities through BMD’s great work in the construction industy.’

BMD WA Construction Manager, Mick Slocombe enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate his team’s success with clients and business partners.

‘Since venturing west in 2014, I’m very proud of the success that we have achieved. We have completed works for the Busselton Airport apron expansion and the new Vasse Bypass project sees us venturing further south to work with Main Roads WA,’ Mr Slocombe said.

BMD’s Perth office specialises in airport, civil and industrial construction services across the urban development, transport infrastructure, resources and energy sectors.
