BMD Setting High Standards for Safety

BMD are proud of our achievement in safety and are determined to further our commitment to a level that makes the BMD brand synonymous with excellent safety performance.

Our NSW / ACT business achieved over 500,000 hours LTI free, which is a significant accomplishment and we thank all involved for their efforts in sustaining a Zero Harm environment.

Other notable achievements towards our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality program include the implementation of a Safety Improvement Plan. This demonstrates BMD’s commitment to safety, and a Safety Training Day in Melbourne was held that highlighted key safety features around plant and person operations.

We also congratulate the Victorian team who were awarded the VicRoads Major Project Safety Excellence award for their work on the Wuruk to Sale Project.

In the new financial year, BMD aims to drive safety to the next level, further embedding safety priorities and behaviours that have already delivered significant improvements.
