Australia’s largest privately owned civil contractor further expands offshore to the United Kingdom

2023 marks the year BMD takes another big leap forward, taking our expertise to the United Kingdom.

Over our history we have grown sustainably and successfully to become a national contractor, and beyond our Australian borders to the Philippines, and now the UK as it faces an unprecedented construction boom.

BMD CEO, Scott Power said that through tremendous hard work and perseverance, the BMD Group has made the most of every opportunity to become Australia’s largest privately-owned civil contractor.

“We’ve now packed our bags for our next big adventure, and I am extremely proud to be expanding BMD into the UK market with Managing Director, Peter Anusas and Operations Manager, Graeme Fenemore building the business on the ground in London.

“We continue our growth trajectory by building on the strengths of our business which is our people, our family values and unique culture. I’m looking forward to the fantastic opportunities this growth will bring our people and our business,” said Mr Power.

In the United Kingdom, we offer project management services and advisory services, bringing international and construction expertise of our Australian heritage to the UK market.

BMD Infrastructure Services (UK) Managing Director, Peter Anusas said when BMD go somewhere, we end up staying forever.
