BMD Awarded Key Project in New South Wales

BMD Constructions is proud to announce the award of the $15 million construction contract for the Charles Kay Drive and Brunswick Road Safety Improvements project for Roads and Maritime Services as part of the greater Terrigal Drive project.

Terrigal Drive is a major arterial road linking residential and tourist areas with the Central Coast Highway and the surrounding commercial area of Erina.

BMD’s contract involves upgrading approximately 0.7 kilometres of Terrigal Drive, from West of Duffy’s Road to East of Brunswick Road. The existing two lane carriageway will be reconstructed to a four lane, two way carriageway with median separation. The existing uncontrolled intersection at Brunswick Road will be reconstructed into a signalised intersection, a new signalised pedestrian crossing will be installed between Duffy’s Road and Holmes Road and the existing signals at Charles Kay Drive will be upgraded.

BMD is looking forward to delivering this project that will ultimately improve safety for motorists, ease congestion during peak hours and reduce travel times.

The $25 million total project is funded by the NSW Government. For more information on the Terrigal Drive project, visit the Road and Maritime website here.
