Employees recognised at Northern Territory CCF Awards

On Friday 23 June, BMD employees Sheldon and Dallas were recognised at the Northern Territory’s (NT) Civil Contractors Federation Training Awards.

Sheldon was awarded the Indigenous Trainee Award, a testament to his growth and career progression over the three years he has been employed with BMD. He has been instrumental in building BMD’s relationship with the Clontarf Foundation in the Northern Territory where he has been involved in multiple sporting events and site visit programs.

Dallas was awarded the NT Mature Age Achiever Award and during his nine years of employment at BMD he has contributed to a number of key projects in the Top End. More recently he has helped BMD’s estimating and tendering teams, using his extensive onsite experience and key constructability knowledge to help develop successful tenders.

The annual CCF NT Training Awards recognise outstanding efforts and achievements by the next generation of contractors undertaking vocational or tertiary education, apprenticeships in the civil construction industry, and employers dedicated to providing skills, knowledge and safe working environments to their workforce.

BMD is proud of our employees’ achievements and the contributions they make in the advancement of Australia’s contracting industry.
