Guinness World Record attempt at BMD Northcliffe tomorrow

BMD are excited to support five time Coolangatta Gold Ironman Champion, and member of BMD Northcliffe Surf Club, Caine Eckstein, as he attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups in 24 hours live on the Today Show.

In October 2014, Caine broke the records for most pull-ups in 12 hours and most pull-ups in 24 hours. His 4,210 pull-ups completed in just the 12 hours beat the previous half-day record of 4,020, and also the full 24 hour record of 4,182.

However, in May this year, Caine’s 24 hour record was beaten by American Rodney Hahn at 6,844 repetitions. Tomorrow from 7:50am, Caine will attempt to reclaim his 24 hour record at the BMD Northcliffe Surf Club using the full 24 hour time period, continuing through to the morning of Thursday 16 June.

BMD would like to wish Caine the best of luck with his attempt to win back his Guinness World Record, representing both the BMD Northcliffe Surf Club and Australia.

BMD has proudly been involved with Northcliffe, the most dominant Surf Life Saving Club in Australia, since 1997, before becoming a naming rights sponsor in 2007. This is the first partnership of its kind in Australia between a surf club and a corporate sponsor, which has further strengthened our well established and long-term partnership.
