Minnippi recognised for construction and environmental excellence
The BMD Group’s highly sought after residential development, Minnippi in Cannon Hill was proud to take out a Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Queensland Branch Category 4 Earth Award (project valued $10 million to $30 million) over the weekend.
BMD’s vertically integrated business model was key to delivering the residential precincts stages 2, 3 and 4, with Urbex delivering the project as the development manager, Urbex Realty as marketing and sales manager, Empower Engineers & Project Managers undertaking design works, BMD Urban completing the civil works and JMac Constructions delivering the landscaping works onsite. This level of integration from BMD’s business units optimised communication, provided reduced risks and allowed the deployment of a strong, collaborative and technically experienced team.
This civil industry award recognised the development for the quality outcomes delivered under challenging conditions including on time and budget delivery with exceptional presentation and enhancement of the environment.
The project will now progress as a category finalist in the CCF National Earth Awards, to be presented at an awards night in November this year.
Works at the prestigious Minnippi community continue with a Brisbane City Council owned 18-hole public golf course and stage 5 of the residential subdivision to be constructed.
