Employment scams

BMD has received reports about individuals receiving fraudulent employment offers via letters, emails, social media postings, phone calls and text messages. The offers often include BMD’s logo and the name of a BMD manager.

The employment scams often involve a request for money from individuals. BMD does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates an advance fee of any kind (e.g. placement fees or immigration fees). Occasionally, BMD engages recruiting agencies to identify candidates for specific positions. If you are contacted by a legitimate recruitment agency, there should be no cost to you as a job seeker. BMD will also never offer a job seeker payment prior to them commencing employment.

BMD’s legitimate job offers can be viewed and applied for via our website.
