BMD Indigenous University Scholarship

Applications for the 2021 BMD Indigenous University Scholarship are open. The scholarship is worth up to $10,000 and includes the opportunity to undertake paid work experience while completing your studies.

At BMD, we respect and value diversity, providing employment and development opportunities to create a safe and equitable workplace that fosters an environment for our people to achieve to their full potential.

The BMD Indigenous University Scholarship was established to provide real career progression and development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. An increased awareness of diversity encompasses the value we see in the contributions different backgrounds can make and aligns with our business motto ‘our business is our people’.

About the scholarship

The $10,000 scholarship will be paid in four instalments of $2,500 per semester for two years. Each payment will be made following confirmation of the student’s enrolment after their university census date of each semester.

The scholarship may contribute to Commonwealth assisted fees or provide a study stipend.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to undertake paid, ongoing work experience as an undergraduate while you complete your study. BMD undergraduates don’t just work in their university holidays, but can instead work with their team to arrange flexible, ongoing employment that fits in with their study commitments throughout their degree.
