Outcomes
The Bluewattle Estate land development showcased the integrated delivery capability of the BMD Group with business units, BMD Urban and JMac Constructions working together to deliver time and cost savings to the client through the concurrent delivery of works.
JMac delivered a range of aesthetic elements on the project including parklands, shelters and play equipment, footpaths and entry walls with signage leading into the main estate entrance.
Throughout the project extensive environmental safety procedures were implemented to ensure damage was not caused to an area of high ecological significance. A barrier fence was erected to preserve the local trees that were not marked for removal and contaminated land was identified and remediated to the full satisfaction of the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection. The project team also worked 64,000 hours lost time injury free.
