Scope

Empower delivered master planning and detailed design of services, access, transport and site works. Key elements of work included:

  • 11,000m3 of imported fill
  • 10,000m3 of remediation works
  • 19,000m3 of pavement surfacing
  • 800 metres of water main
  • 600 metres of sewer
  • 1100 metres of stormwater drainage.

Outcomes

The commercial park was redesigned during the construction phase to account for the client’s construction contract model and delivered more effective design and construction interface management. The design accommodated for further development of building pads, earthworks, services and stormwater drainage in the area.

Empower successfully negotiated the service road outlet to Carroll Street and the preservation of the access at Woolcock Street following a traffic assessment which enabled the client’s scale of development, visibility and direct access to be achieved.
