- installation of pile foundation for solar tables and combiner boxes
- installation of solar tables
- installation of solar modules (panels)
- installation of combiner boxes
- installation of all concrete foundations
- installation of low voltage and medium voltage cable

Outcomes
BMD completed civil, mechanical and structural works to deliver a 13 mega watt peak solar array (featuring 41,440 solar panels), 1.4 mega watt/5.34 mega watt hours of lithium-ion battery storage, and a smart system controller that when combined, creates a consistent power supply, even during times of cloud cover. The project produces enough electricity to power up to 3000 homes, and is connected to Ergon Energy’s existing substation – one of the most remote National Electricity Market (NEM) connected substations in Australia.
