Colin has over 27 years of operational and technical experience across a range of mining, port, defence, road and rail projects. As National General Manager – Strategy, Colin leads the company’s strategic planning process with the explicit objective of achieving sustainable growth across the BMD business units through diversification and competitive advantage.
Prior to his role as National General Manager – Strategy, Colin was the long serving Regional Manager for North Queensland. During his time in this role, Colin successfully led the business through the challenges of the Global Financial Crisis and subsequent rapid growth phase producing record turnovers and safety milestones and affirming BMD as a market leader in the region.
Colin currently serves as the Queensland President of Engineers Australia.
