BMD Graduates Get ‘On Board’

As part of BMD’s ongoing Graduate Initiative, graduates were invited from across the country to Queensland for a two day program aimed at networking, team building and learning more about BMD Group.

Graduates were invited to join senior management and BMD employees on board the M.V Curtis Ambassador for a cruise to the Peel Island in Moreton Bay. Day one of the program had our graduates participating in a variety of team building activities on the beach, liaising with Ironmen and Ironwomen Shannon Eckstein and Courtney Hancock, as well as BMD Good Health and Wellbeing Ambassador and Olympic Kayaking Gold Medalist, Tate Smith. The second day comprised of presentations from BMD Group Board Chairman and Managing Director Mick Power AM and national senior management.

The BMD Graduate Initiative offers graduate employees:

  • A real job with a real support mechanisms where individual contribution is invited and respected;
  • The opportunity to excel and demonstrate capability and willingness to contribute; and
  • A work environment that is flexible and individually focused while still providing countless and diverse opportunities.
