Tertiary Education
BMD encourages employees to continue to develop their skills through professional development. Employees may choose to upgrade their current skill sets or pursue a new discipline through tertiary study in areas such as civil engineering, accounting, law, business administration, human resources and marketing.
Program of professional development
BMD supports and encourages our engineers to develop their skills through professional development, including the opportunity to achieve Chartered Status through Engineers Australia. Our future leaders and graduates are also exposed to developmental opportunities through emerging leader programs.
Traineeships & Apprenticeships
BMD supports and encourages site based personnel to further their development by offering apprenticeships and traineeship in Civil Construction and Workplace Health and Safety. Programs available include Certificate 3 and 4 in Civil Construction, comprising of pipe laying, road construction and maintenance and bridge construction and maintenance.
BMD Ready Program
BMD Ready is a five-week program for school-leavers in South East Queensland designed for you to have a go and see if a career in civil construction could be right for you.
Graduate Program
BMD welcomes innovative and career-minded graduates and encourages applicants who share our commitment to responsible work practices and whose ethics are closely aligned with our values and culture.
