Cowboys Continue Their Winning Streak

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys ended a three game losing streak against Queensland rivals, Brisbane Broncos on Friday 9 May 2014.

A memorable 27-14 win in front of more than 21,000 members and fans was sealed by a late field goal followed by a final-minute try by the Cowboys.

Saturday 17 May 2014 saw the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys play against Sydney Roosters in Townsville.

The team continued a strong season, winning 42-10 over the Roosters. Overall, the Cowboys extended their winning streak to three and were pushed up into the NRL’s top eight.

The match marked co-captain Johnathan Thurston’s 200th game for the club.
