Our business is our people, and our people have taken out top honours at the Queensland Excellence Awards

BMD was founded on the principle of achieving success through people. We upskill, develop and provide a supportive environment to empower our employees to be the best they can be.

BMD employs some of the industry’s top performers which is evident in the high performance of our project teams and the high calibre of our staff. At the Civil Contractors Federation Queensland Excellence Awards held over the weekend, BMD won almost 70% of the People and Training Awards.

Recognising our commitment to training and skill development, BMD was awarded top honours with the Employer of the Year Award. BMD believes in the fundamental importance of developing our workforce through the completion of formal qualifications in civil works, pipe works, road infrastructure and bridge works. With 21 traineeship completions with Civil Train Queensland last year, these qualifications have developed the skills of our workforce by spurring innovative thinking and promoting teamwork to increase efficiencies and ensure safe work practices.
