Capestone is a master planned community on 300 hectares of land located in Mango Hill, 40 minutes north of Brisbane’s CBD. The estate will feature a 13 hectare saline lake, town and business centre, open space network, a private school, a range of recreational facilities and in excess of 2000 homes. BMD has been involved on the Capestone project since 2003 through Urbex’s development team. Since then, Empower Engineers & Project Managers (Empower) have worked on the project’s planning and design, JMac Constructions (JMac) has been involved in the landscaping, and both BMD Constructions and BMD Urban have undertaken construction and land development works. The project will be completed over 22 stages.

Outcomes

Capestone demonstrates the integrated strengths in utilising the expertise of multiple BMD Group companies including BMD Urban, Empower, JMac and Urbex to deliver a successful project from design to completion. Through our vertical integration strategy, the project’s design and construction has been consistently fast tracked to ensure accelerated schedules have been achieved on time.
