As a member of BMD’s 20 Year Club, Gerard brings over two decades of industry experience delivering major infrastructure projects involving construction of highways, major bridges, rail infrastructure, and earth retaining structures through a diverse range of delivery models including design and construct, alliance and joint venture.
Gerard is a strong leader with excellent communication skills who manages his team effectively, clearly setting goals and leading by example. He is a passionate safety leader and embraces a collaborative approach to business. Having built his career at BMD, Gerard is enthusiastic about providing the same career development opportunities, and diverse range of experience that he was afforded, to his own teams.
Gerard understands client drivers, is solution focused and provides support to ensure that best for project outcomes are achieved. His knowledge of the state and local government environments is extensive, particularly in relation to the management of ever changing community expectations and working within a tight legislative framework.
Gerard’s knowledge and understanding of the delivery process is across both design and construction management including working within operational environments where continued communication is key.
