Landscape Estimator
About the role
Due to significant growth opportunities in the division, Jmac are in the market for a Landscape Estimator to price a range of diverse landscape projects in Melbourne, Victoria based in our Seaford Office.
Estimating projects in:
- Land development – (Landscape works for Residential and Industrial Sub-divisions).
- Maintenance and Public Infrastructure.
- Streetscapes and walkways.
- Commercial infrastructure.
Desired Skills and experience include:
- 1-4 years + experience in Construction industry
- Sound knowledge and experience with civil/landscape earthworks
- Experience in using expert estimation would be advantageous
- A mix of project and estimating experience is ideal
- First principle estimating experience.
- Development of subcontractor work packages and review.
- Desired landscape experience
Core Responsibilities
- Build Expert Libraries for use in tendering
- Negotiate Pricing/Rates
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within the tender
- Seek competitive contractor quotations
- Attend tender meetings
- Seek and engage new clients, contacts and suppliers
